Why now?
The digital dilemma starts early
Today’s children are growing up in a world shaped by technology but without the tools to navigate it safely, confidently, or creatively.
The consequences are already here:
(1) The UK’s digital skills gap is costing the economy £63 billion a year, projected to rise to £120 billion by 2035.
(2) Two-thirds of UK primary teachers say they lack confidence in teaching coding.
(3) Half of teens report feeling addicted to tech and social media.
These are not separate issues they’re part of the same system. We give children access to devices but not always the tools to use them meaningfully or mindfully. That needs to change, starting in the early years.
Looparoo is designed to do exactly that. And in a world of rapidly accelerating AI and screen time saturation, the need has never been more urgent or more scalable.
